ISRO Chairman’s Unique Confession: Watches Rocket Launches Only Through Computer Screens
ISRO Chairman S Somanath revealed that he has never witnessed a rocket launch directly. The reason being, he is always stationed in the control room, overseeing the launches through a computer. He expressed his desire to watch a rocket launch in person post his retirement. Somanath shared these sentiments while speaking to children at an event hosted by the APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation.
